The Organization and Work Procedures

Organisasi dan Tata Kerja merujuk pada Statuta, dan Organisasi Tata
Kerja (OTK) Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Tugas Pokok dan Fungsi serta
Struktur Organisasi jurusan Teknologi Informasi mengacu kepada stuktur
organisasi di Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Jurusan teknologi informasi dipimpin
oleh Ketua Jurusan yang bertanggung jawab terhadap Direktur Politenik Negeri
Lampung. Ketua Jurusan membawahi Sekretaris Jurusan serta mengkoordinir program studi yang dipimpin oleh Koordinator Program Studi, Kepala Laboratorium serta fungsional dosen dan tenaga kependidikan. Selanjutnya Tugas Pokok dan Fungsi diperjelas dalam Surat Keputusan Direktur Nomor 100/PL15/KPTS/2019 tanggal 7 Januari 2019 tentang uraian jabatan di lingkungan Politeknik Negeri Lampung.

 

The Organization and Work Procedures of the Unit Managing Study Programs refer to the Statutes and Organizational and Work Procedures of Politeknik Negeri Lampung. The main duties and functions, as well as the organizational structure of the IT Department, adhere to the organizational structure at Politeknik Negeri Lampung.  The Department of Information Technology is led by a Head of Department who is responsible to the Director of Politeknik Negeri Lampung. The Head of Department oversees the Secretary of Department and coordinates study programs led by Study Program Coordinators, Laboratory Heads, as well as functional lecturers and educational staff. Furthermore, the main duties and functions are detailed in the Director’s Decree Number 100/PL15/KPTS/2019 dated January 7, 2019, regarding the job descriptions within Politeknik Negeri Lampung.

Ketua Jurusan

Rumusan Tugas: Menyusun rencana, membagi tugas, mengkordinasikan dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan Jurusan, memiliki Uraian Tugas:

  • Menyusun rencana dan program kerja Jurusan sebagai pedoman pelaksanaan tugas;
  • Memeriksa konsep beban tugas dosen berdasarkan ketentuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaiannya;
  • Memantau dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan tugas Sekretaris Jurusan, Koordinator Program Studi, dan Kepala Laboratorium;
  • Meneliti dan mengesahkan rencana perkuliahan dan satuan acara perkuliahan berdasarkan ketentuan sebagai bahan pegangan mengajar;
  • Memeriksa konsep surat penugasan dosen sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku sebagai bahan masukan atasan;
  • Memantau pelaksanaan perkuliahan/praktikum berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku sebagai bahan evaluasi;
  • Mengevaluasi hasil pelaksanaan perkuliahan/praktikum berdasarkan hasil monitoring sebagai bahan informasi;
  • Memberi layanan teknis dosen pada jurusan untuk kelancaran pelaksanaan tugas;
  • Menyusun laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan jurusan sesuai dengan hasil yang telah dicapai sebagai pertanggungjawaban pelaksanaan tugas
  • Melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan oleh pimpinan Politeknik

Head of Department

Task Description: Responsible for planning, delegating tasks, coordinating, and evaluating the implementation of departmental activities. The detailed tasks include:

  • Preparing plans and work programs for the department as a guideline for task implementation.
  • Reviewing the workload assignments for lecturers to ensure they comply with regulations.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Secretary of the Department, Study Program Coordinators, and Laboratory Heads.
  • Reviewing and approving lesson plans and teaching session outlines in accordance with regulations as teaching references.
  • Examining drafts of lecturer assignment letters to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Monitoring the implementation of lectures/practical sessions to ensure adherence to established guidelines as part of the evaluation process.
  • Evaluating the results of lectures/practical sessions based on monitoring outcomes to provide necessary feedback.
  • Providing technical services to lecturers within the department to facilitate smooth task execution.
  • Compiling reports on departmental activities based on achievements as a form of accountability.
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the leadership of the Polytechnic.
 

Sekretaris Jurusan

Rumusan Tugas: Membantu Ketua Jurusan dalam mengkoordinasikan kegiatan akademik di tingkat jurusan, dalam rangka pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, memiliki Rincian Tugas:

  • Menyusun rencana dan program kerja Jurusan sebagai pedoman pelaksanaan tugas;
  • Menyusun konsep surat penugasan dosen sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku sebagai bahan masukan atasan;
  • Menyusun instrumen monitoring pelaksanaan perkuliahan/praktikum sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku untuk kelancaran pelaksanaan tugas;
  • Melaksanakan administrasi perkuliahan/praktikum pada jurusan untuk kelancaran pelaksanaan tugas;
  • Menyusun konsep laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan jurusan berdasarkan data dan informasi sebagai bahan masukan atasan;
  • Melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan oleh pimpinan jurusan atau Politeknik.
 

Secretary of the Department

Task Description: Assists the Head of Department in coordinating academic activities at the department level to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The detailed tasks include:

  • Preparing plans and work programs for the department as a guideline for task execution.
  • Drafting lecturer assignment letters in accordance with applicable regulations as input for the department head.
  • Developing monitoring instruments for the implementation of lectures/practical sessions according to established regulations to ensure smooth task execution.
  • Managing the administration of lectures/practical sessions within the department to facilitate seamless task execution.
  • Drafting reports on departmental activities based on data and information as input for the department head.
  • Performing tasks assigned by the Head of Department or Polytechnic leadership.

Koordinator Program Studi

Rumusan Tugas: Menyusun rencana, memberi arahan, mengkoordinasikan dan mengevaluasi kegiatan akademik, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh dosen program studi berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku, memiliki Rincian Tugas :

  • Menyusun rencana dan program kerja program studi;
  • Menyusun kurikulum, silabus, buku modul ajar, dan buku panduan praktik;
  • Menentukan beban tugas mengajar dosen setiap semester;
  • Merencanakan kegiatan perkuliahan dan satuan acara perkuliahan;
  • Memantau pelaksanaan perkuliahan berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku sebagai bahan evaluasi;
  • Mengkoordinir pelaksanaan pengembangan akademik di program studi
  • Mengkoordinir pelaksanaan akreditasi dan penjaminan mutu di program studi
  • Mengevaluasi hasil pelaksanaan perkuliahan berdasarkan data dan informasi untuk bahan peningkatan mutu;
  • Menentukan dosen pembimbing bagi mahasiswa yang akan menyelesaikan laporan akhir berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku untuk kelancaran tugas akademik;
  • Pembinaan Kegiatan Ekstra Kurikuler Mahasiswa Program Studi;
  • Menyusun laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan program studi sesuai dengan hasil yang dicapai sebagai pertanggungjawaban pelaksanaan tugas.
  • Melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan pimpinan Politeknik

Study Program Coordinator

Task Description: Responsible for planning, guiding, coordinating, and evaluating academic, research, and community service activities conducted by lecturers within the study program, in accordance with applicable regulations. The detailed tasks include:

  • Preparing plans and work programs for the study program.
  • Developing the curriculum, syllabi, teaching module books, and practical guidelines.
  • Assigning teaching workloads to lecturers for each semester.
  • Planning lecture activities and session outlines.
  • Monitoring the implementation of lectures in accordance with applicable regulations as part of the evaluation process.
  • Coordinating the implementation of academic development within the study program.
  • Coordinating accreditation processes and quality assurance within the study program.
  • Evaluating the results of lectures based on data and information to improve quality.
  • Assigning academic supervisors for students completing their final reports, in accordance with applicable regulations to ensure smooth academic tasks.
  • Supervising extracurricular activities for students in the study program.
  • Compiling reports on the study program’s activities based on achieved results as a form of accountability.
  • Performing tasks assigned by the Polytechnic leadership.

Kepala Laboratorium

Rumusan Tugas: Menyusun perencanaan, pembagian tugas, koordinasi dan evaluasi pelaksanaan pengelolaan laboratorium untuk menunjang pelaksanaan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, agar tujuan pendidikan dan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi tercapai, memiliki Rincian Tugas:

  • Menyusun program kerja tahunan laboratorium
  • Menyusun up-dating data inventarisasi peralatan laboratorium
  • Menyusun jadwal penggunaan laboratorium per semester untuk kegiatan Tridharma
  • Menyusun kebutuhan bahan praktik per semester berdasarkan usulan dosen/staf pengajar masing- masing mata kuliah
  • Menyusun Standard Operasional Prosedur (SOP) penggunaan bahan praktik, penggunaan alat, penilaian kinerja alat dan penggunaan laboratorium untuk kegiatan penelitian dan PkM
  • Menyusun pembagian tugas Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan (PLP) dalam rangka up-dating data inventarisasi peralatan laboratorium, penggunaan bahan praktik, penggunaan alat, penilaian kinerja alat, pelaksanaan kegiatan praktik, membantu pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian dan PkM
  • Evaluasi kinerja Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan
  • Evaluasi efieiensi penggunaan laboratorium untuk kegiatan praktik
  • Evaluasi efisiensi penggunaan bahan kegiatan praktik
  • Evaluasi efieiensi penggunaan laboratorium untuk kegiatan penelitian dan PkM
  • Melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan oleh pimpinan Politeknik

Laboratory Head

Task Description: Responsible for planning, task allocation, coordination, and evaluation of laboratory management to support the implementation of the “Tri Dharma” of Higher Education, ensuring the achievement of educational and “Tri Dharma” goals. The detailed tasks include:

  • Developing an annual work program for the laboratory.
  • Updating inventory data for laboratory equipment.
  • Preparing the laboratory usage schedule per semester for Tri Dharma activities.
  • Planning the required practical materials per semester based on proposals from lecturers/instructors of each subject.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the use of practical materials, equipment operation, equipment performance assessment, and laboratory usage for research and community service activities.
  • Assigning tasks to Laboratory Technicians (Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan – PLP) for updating inventory data, managing practical materials, operating equipment, assessing equipment performance, supporting practical activities, and assisting in research and community service activities.
  • Evaluating the performance of Laboratory Technicians (PLP).
  • Assessing the efficiency of laboratory usage for practical activities.
  • Assessing the efficiency of practical material usage.
  • Evaluating the efficiency of laboratory usage for research and community service activities.
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the Polytechnic leadership.
